This degree programme lays equal emphasis on theory and practice. It enables one to start as Trainee Marine Engineer on board, and to steadily rise to the rank of Chief Engineer after the required qualifying exams.

- Dip.Mech/EEE/Marine Engg - Up to 22 Years
- Ship-building Engg - Up to 23 Years
Emoluments
After Pre-Sea Training - as a Junior Engineer - Rs. 12,000 to 15,000.
After raising level of Chief Engineer - Rs. 4,00,000 to 6,00,000.
